Star
Manufacturing Ltd. (Star) owns hard tools that can manufacture over 3000
different configurations of PCB Brackets. These tools are used for high volume
production of full-height and low-profile ISA and PCI products. All of the
tooling is built with interchangeable hole patterns. The tools also have
interchangeable stations to produce a multitude of tab locations and directions.
Star has ready-made tooling sections that are used to make new inserts to
expedite tooling of new PCB Bracket products for quick delivery. Brackets are
manufactured using .035" thick cold-rolled steel and bright nickel plating.
Brackets are available with variations of mounting tab locations as well as
numerous connector and LED openings.
